Kaamulan Festival

You, Marissa, and Jordan have finally arrived at Bukidnon in Northern Mindanao. You are ready to party and meet some new people! What a colorful sight to see! Indigenous Filipinos are chanting, dancing, and marching through the streets. Besides this lively street theatre pageantry, the Kaamulan Festival also shows authentic rituals like the tagulambong ho datu (a political ritual marking one's formal ascendancy to the datuship), the panlisig (edging away of evil spirits), and a native horse fight called kagsaba ho kabayo.
