Who are all these people? Where do they come from? The Philippines is a product of many different cultural groups who have settled the islands beginning with the First Peoples, settlers like the Malay, traders like the Indians, Chinese and Arabs who have intermixed with the general population, and conquerors from far away lands like Spain and the United States. Each has contributed to the fabric of Philippine culture and society.
